Kitty Victorian more years in the business than a burlesque performer would like to admit.  Prior to burlesque, she indulged in her singing, acting, and dancing skills in musical theater and intends to bring more of those talents into her performances.  After falling in love with burlesque and the sensuality behind it, she felt the need to make it accessible to every woman. In 2003, Washington, DC didn’t know what burlesque was and Kitty took it upon herself to spread awareness of the art.  And as more women took classes and learned more, they wanted to perform their new found craft.  This was the birth of DC Gurly Show now in their 5th year of performances.

In 2006, Kitty opened the proverbial doors to Burlesque University and provided classes to Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Richmond, Columbus and now Chicago.  Focusing more on the overall theatrics of Burlesque (combining dance, movement, expression, character, props and costumes) Kitty will help you develop yourself into a burlesque star!
