Burlesque University, better known as BU, first based in Washington, DC has now expanded to cities across America! Founded by Headmistress Kitty Victorian, BU opened its proverbial doors in September 2006 and offers classes on many topics surrounding burlesque and other erotic arts. Focusing on body-positive, sex-positive, teachings all classes are open to every person regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, etc. What I’m saying folks is that if you want to learn the art of the tease, I’d love to teach it to you! It may even be a jumpstart to a new career!

Last Saturday we all got together for a fun sexy workout twirling tassels at Pink Fitness Studios in Peoria! We had so much fun that we didn’t know how much of a workout we were getting until we stopped! Oh, my abs! We twirled left, we twirled right, we twirled out and we twirled in! Today was the start of Burlesque University in Phoenix at Pink Fitness Studios in Peoria. Unfortunately, Burlesque 101 enrollment course has been postponed due to low registrations, but should be starting up soon! But TODAY we did hold our How To Strip For Your Lover drop-in class and we had a BLAST! The five of us danced and learned tricks of the trade for over an hour! I’m very proud of the ladies that joined us today! So many times, we all (especially women) don’t take enough or any time for ourselves. So we here at Burlesque University are challenging EVERYONE to take at least 5 min to yourself; put on some music that makes you feel sexy, whatever it may be, and dance naked in front of a mirror. While naked, dancing, and feeling sexy, make eye contact with that hot guy or girl you see in the mirror – YOU! This is a great way to begin your day…feeling strong, feeling confident and having fun! Starting your day off this way can only lead to a better day! So tomorrow morning…Dance NAKED!
